Do you know Jesus as your Lord and savior? I mean to you really KNOW him? Or do you just know about him? For years I knew all about Jesus. I grew up in a Catholic home and attended Catholic schools from elementary through high school. Yes, I knew all about Jesus. But I did not know him personally until I was 23 years old. That is when I invited Jesus into my life and asked Him to be my Lord and my savior. It was the most important and most wonderful decision I have ever made. I have never regretted it, not even once. He is a friend that sticks closer than a brother and he is the love of my life. I hope you know Jesus personally because he loves you so very much and this is why you were created to know him and to fellowship with him. Just think; the King of all kings, the Lord of all lords, the creator of the entire universe, wants to have a relationship with you! How amazing is that! He invites you into his presence for fellowship! The One and only true God, the One who loves you no matter what and in spite of everything you are and anything you may have done, the One who will always love you; His arms are reaching out to you! Will you accept Him into your life? I encourage you to pray the prayer below and when you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart, you will be saved and you will enjoy sweet fellowship with your heavenly Father.
Father, I confess that I am a sinner in need of a savior. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he came to die so he could save those who are lost, including myself. And I believe that you, Father, raised Jesus from the dead and that He is now lives and is seated at your right hand so that I, too, can live with you throughout eternity. I ask you Father to forgive me of all my past sins. I invite Jesus into my heart and into my life. Jesus, be my Lord and my savior. Thank you for dying for me and receiving me into your kingdom! In Jesus name, I pray. Amen!
Hallelujah! Wasn’t that easy? Now all the angels in heaven are rejoicing because another child of God has come home! I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent. (Luke 15:7) You should rejoice too because God has thrown all your sins as far away as the east is to the west, he hurls them into the depth of the sea, and he remembers them no more! Though your sins were as scarlet, you have been made as white as snow! It is a new day! Rejoice! as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. (Ps. 103:12) You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. (Micah 7:19) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18)
