Thank you Lord that you hear my voice and I can call on you as long as I live. Thank you that you turn your ear to me and you hear my cry of mercy. You, Lord, are gracious and righteous; you are full of compassion and mercy. I thank you that when I was in great need, you saved me. I thank you that though I may walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes and with your right hand you save me. You protect me and you guard my life because I trust in You. I am yours.
Father, I love you with all my heart, and all my soul, and all my mind. I submit myself to you and those you have placed in authority over me. And I love my neighbor, even the unlovely, as myself. I do not repay evil for evil but am careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. I have sought out your precepts and have hidden your Word in my heart that I might not sin against you. I love how the unfolding of your words gives light and understanding to me. For your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. How I hunger after your teaching, your instruction and your direction! I meditate on it all day long. How sweet are your words to me! Since I gain understanding from your precepts, I hate every wrong path. Because I obey your Word and your commands they make me wiser than my enemies, give me more insight and understanding than my teachers and elders, and keep my feet from every evil path. Father, make your face shine upon me, your servant, and teach me your decrees. For I love your law and my heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end. They are the joy of my heart and are my heritage forever. I will never be put to shame for I have placed my trust in you.
I thank you that I can approach your throne of grace with confidence and receive mercy and grace in my time of need. For I stand cover by the blood of Jesus who died for me and became an atonement of sin for me. Therefore, I stand before you clothed with a garment of salvation and arrayed in a robe of righteousness by the blood of your precious Son, Jesus.
Father, I cast down all pride and I clothe myself with a spirit of humbleness. For you, Lord, will not share yo7ur glory with another. Therefore, I stand before you a humble servant. Your Word says that you crown the humble with salvation and dwell with those who have a contrite and humble spirit. And you have promised to save, guide, teach, prosper, and give grace to the humble. So, I thank you Lord that your word dwells with me richly and all these promises are mine. O Lord, set a guard over my mouth, keep watch over the door of my lips. Let my heart not be drawn to what is evil. Lord, I daily set myself apart to be holy as your Word says. And I will set no vile thing before my eyes. Now Lord, search me and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts, see if there is any offensive way in me and lead me in the way everlasting. Direct my footsteps according to your Word; let no sin rule over me. For you, Lord, are my God. You are my Refuge and my Shield. I have put my hope in your Word. My eyes are fixed on you, Lord. You are my refuge and my hiding place. Hear my voice when I call and come quickly to me. May my prayers be set before you like incense. May the lifting of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.
Thank you Lord, that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and rich in love. Thank you that you fulfill your purpose for me and will not abandon the works of your hands. Thank you, Father that you make all grace abound to me so that in all things at all times, I have all that I need and I abound in every good work. Thank you that your love endures forever!
I will praise you and extol you! I will tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might! Thank you, Lord that you are faithful to all your promises and all your promises are, “Yes!” in Christ. And I say, “Amen!” to the glory of you, my God, who makes me stand firm in Christ. You have anointed me and set your seal of ownership on me and your Spirit in my heart as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. Hallelujah! To you, God, be all the glory and honor, now and forever. AMEN!
